Throughout this project I have served as an Level Mechanic Designer and a Technical Designer. I have designed and implemented multiple enemies into the game, as well as implementing more complicated systems and tools.

Process
My level mechanic Work
During this project I prototyped and developed many different enemies, below I go through my most impressive work.
The Blower Enemy
I created a prototype for this enemy quite early into the project, and turned it into a fully polished creation.
When I first created it I made a simple model for it with geometric shapes, and it really helped sell the concept to the team.
It’s based on a concept that was drawn by our concept artist and I then made it come to life with this prototype.
Since the prototype I have created more interactions between the blower and the player, I have created interactions between the blower and other enemies, and have polished the feel of it a ton.
Besides that I implemented the new mesh and created an animation blueprint for it.
The Billiard Ball Enemy
Our creative director came up with the idea of a ball that get bounced around and tries to attack the player in that way.
I created a simple prototype with a pre-existing asset to sell the idea.
The idea is quite simple, but I ended up running into some gimbal lock problems with the ball’s rotation.
I ended up making it rotate very smoothly, and it looks amazing when it runs into a wall. I also created VFX for it by altering an existing VFX , and it turned out nice and cartoony, which really fits our style.
